I’ve noticed that Nostalgia is often based on how much money your parents had when you were a kid or teen. I was never well off in the 80’s and 90’s so for me it was more about survival and getting through the work week rather than seeing the next big band or buying cool clothes. Who wants to think back and ruminate about that?
