So many young people pay way too much for rent and pay too much for education just to have a shitty job, while we continue to see reports that many sectors have no American's to work in them. We either need to educate a new workforce without bankrupting them or we need to resign ourselves to seeking immigrants to come do the jobs that no one can afford to be educated to do. (I'm not anti immigration, just making a point) We have to give the young the tools to live if we want a decent capitalist society. Citizens who have no money cannot spend it and that's not a good capitalist economy. I pay so much just to survive, all the restaurants, boutiques, and other services get no or little money from me. A good economy is one where everyone has a livable wage and can find ways to be employed so we have everyone ready to do what is needed. When we talk about School, we are not talking just Liberal Studies, but jobs in Medicine, Engeneering, Blue collar jobs that need instruction and certification, Vetrinarian work, and many other jobs. If we want a good economic infrastructure, we need to make sure that everyone can be educated well. If we follow the trends we will have to import more and more workers to do what our citizens cannot.
